These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Bella Ciao Travels website (bellaciaotravels.com) and the services we provide. By using this website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms. Bella Ciao Travels is a business operated by Annalisa De Carlo (ABN 76 883 552 659), based in Perth, Western Australia.

Our Role & Services

Bella Ciao Travels provides bespoke Italian travel consultancy and itinerary design. We work in partnership with a fully licensed Italy-based travel company that manages all bookings, payments, and on-the-ground travel operations. We are not an ATAS/AFTA accredited travel agent in Australia; we work exclusively in a consultancy and design role within this international partnership structure. All bookings are made and held through our licensed Italian travel partner, and a formal booking agreement is provided before any booking is confirmed.

Enquiries and Bookings

Submitting an enquiry through this website does not constitute a booking. A booking is only confirmed when a tailored proposal has been accepted and the required deposit received by our licensed Italian travel partner. Full booking terms — including deposit requirements, payment schedules, and cancellation policies — are set by that partner and provided in your booking agreement.

Payments, Deposits & Cancellation

A 30% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of confirmation to secure your arrangements, with the balance due before departure as set out in your booking agreement. Payments can be made by international wire transfer, Mastercard, or Visa (American Express is not accepted); credit card payments are subject to a 2% surcharge. Cancellation terms are set and managed by our licensed Italian travel partner. As a guide, the following penalties apply to the full trip price: no charge from booking confirmation up to 31 days before departure; 30% between 30 and 16 days before departure; 70% between 15 and 4 days before departure; and 100% from 3 days before departure or for a no-show.

Pricing

Indicative pricing shown on this website is a guide only and subject to confirmation based on your specific travel requirements, dates, and the availability of services. Pricing does not include international flights, travel insurance, tips, personal expenses, or anything not expressly listed in your quotation. Final pricing is confirmed in writing as part of your formal itinerary proposal.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all travellers take out comprehensive travel insurance, and we consider it essential. Matters such as missed flights, personal emergencies, and medical issues fall outside the scope of your itinerary and should be covered by your own policy. We recommend cover for trip cancellation, medical expenses, emergency evacuation, and travel delays for Italy and, where applicable, all countries visited during your journey.

Liability

Bella Ciao Travels acts as a consultancy and design service and facilitates bookings through a licensed third-party travel partner and its suppliers. We are not liable for the acts, omissions, defaults, or negligence of any supplier, nor for loss, damage, illness, or delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to weather, industrial action, or political events.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.
