Our Story
Italy is where I'm from. Designing it for you is what I do.
Bella Ciao Travels was founded by Annalisa De Carlo — born and raised in Liguria, in north-west Italy, and now based in Perth, Western Australia. Before this, she spent years working across Europe as a tour representative, tour leader, and tour guide, primarily in Italy, France, and the Principality of Monaco.
She had always been the person organising trips for friends. The turning point came when a manager asked her to plan an Italian holiday — and what had always been instinct became a proper service, with a name and a structure behind it.
Today, every journey is designed personally by Annalisa, drawing on her Italian heritage, her background as a tour guide, and a close partnership with a licensed Italian travel company that handles bookings and on-the-ground execution. The result is an Italy that feels personal — designed entirely around you.
